beams not starting twice with same battery????

ive got a pretty weird problem with my motor

ive just got it running and cant get it to start a twice


the story goes like this:
if i start the car with a fully charged battery it will start up first pop and run. now if you try to start the car again it will not start! all it does is backfire out the throttles. now if you swap the battery it will start up fine? ive tryed disconnecting the battery and hooking up it back up and wont start with that same battery!

whats going on? has anyone ever heard of this?

Dead/incorrectly hooked up alternator?

like if it only just has enough oomph to start once, then not charging whilst running.. so then it doesnt have enough for second round?

have u updated the firmware for the adaptronic?

i had a similar problem where i would turn the car off come back to start it and all it would do is crank and misfire.
changed the battery and upgraded firmware and was all good

either a poor connection is causing some sort of reset? or the ecu is playin silly buggers...

yep noted will load latest firmware on tomorrow when i can get ahold of a cable

the computers run off a relay all 12+ connections look good. how does the ecu earth?

tryed new plugs today they were for a caldina though....... it just pops bigger flames out now....

make sure u reload the fuel and ignition maps too

if its popping flames that means you have fuel and spark. Ergo, your timing is retarded ALOT, could be the ecu not knowing where a reset is or a knock sensor retarding timing or something like that.
