I don't like looking at inline engines there is some about them that displeases me LS1 would be lovely the closest V8 I've found to the 2.7L limit is a Triumph 3L and timbo is that a carby fed boxer? It is different haha.

Anyone played around with the Alfa 2.5 V6? I've heard the carby engine was a bit unreliable due to running 6 carbs but a 350 holley should fix that the EFI ones are supposed to be quite good but I'd like to stay carby.

I'd just join an Alfa forum and things will happen, I haven't been able to find any engine and boxes for sale yet but there is a whole car @ Rodd Point for $950 on carsales (auto though) it could be a good start.

Timbo looks like the cyclone engine starts @ 3.5 too many cc's for NSW RTA the power is decent in those things.

Sam thanks again I spoke to David and we've got a package sorted.
