KE70- respray project
SOLD!!
Sitting on a farm outside Orange is this nice KE70... I want the drivetrain to convert my auto to manual, and need to share the rest of the car with somebody else. The story is that the young guy who owns it was going to respray it and give it to his girlfriend. He stripped it, sanded it and undercoated the rusty bits, but them circumstances changed and he has changed his mind about the GF.
The body is straight, the rust was minor and he was driving it around when he stripped it. Its out of rego now.
I'll haul it into Orange, from where it will be a trailer pickup. $300 for it. PM me here.

ha! The guy just phoned and said he will fire it up Tuesday night, drive it onto the trailer and haul it down here on Wed 24th. I can get model numbers and anything else anyone wants from then on.
Ha! Got it today!
Put in a battery & drove it up the road and back, it runs fine and more response than mine. (he said to rip off all the vacuum hoses and put the vac advance straight onto the carb with some extra advance..)
The panels are all straight & the inside of the doors are rustfree & clean. Its been sanded all over but just spot-primed. It even has central locking, an XX dash with a rev counter, and sits 40mm lower than mine!
If no-one takes it by the time I've changed gearboxes I'll break it up, but its a great shell.
OK, it now has an auto box in the boot and we have a manual 'rolla!!
Anyone want it, its too good to wreck being a country car with none of the coastal rust in there.. Anyone want bits of it??
if u were in brisbane id so buy this as i have a spare rb25 in my garage waiting to go into somethink. or wuld u be willing to send it here with a lil more $$ ur wway let me no
o and does it come with interior and all the missing exterior parts as id need that for a road worthy so i can rego it

No bumpers! Otherwise I think its all there.. one door panel is off, its in hte back, that's how I know it has central locking. Ah- the driver's window is broken, that's why.
I'm in New Zealand for another two weeks, flying back after Easter. I'll get a price on shipping it then and let you know.
