    Thumbs up 2 x w58 gearboxes

    I HAVE 2 X W58 GEAR BOXES FOR SALE.

    THE SHIFTER LOCATION ON BOTH OF THEM ARE RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE.STRAIGHT UP, THEY DNT GO BACK FORTHER LIKE ABOVE THE TAILSHAFT.THEY ARE STRAIGHT UP.

    THEY ARE FINE, SHIFTER RUBBERS ARENT THAT BAD BUT THATS A 40c FIX FOR A NEW LITTLE RUBBER

    U DNT NEED PICTURES AS I HAVE EXPLAINED WHERE THE SHIFTER LOCATION IS AND THEY ARE CLEAN (THANKS TO MY HOT WATER/DEGREASER PREASURE CLEANER )

    how can ya tell if there 55 57 58?i dnt no wat car there out of..........

    They're always 58's....you rarely see anyone ever advertising 55's, when in reality about 90% of W series boxes are 55's.

    They would want to be mint for that sort of money.

    measure the ratios... otherwise how do you know what gboxs they are if you dont know what car they came from?

    you have explained shifter position but still... pics of shifter, and pics of sandwhich plate

    And even if with pics it's not guaranteed! I've seen boxes that look like W58's with the steel sandwich plate, but they're actually 55's.

    The ratios is the only way to be sure.
