Charge battery symbol and power window conversion

Hey guys my 86 is always showin the charge symbol and I just bought a new battery and I think it's not charging while it drives and the battery went flat now , so anyone know the fix or if anyone around s.e melb with a ae86 car to help . And also I was wondering about power window conversion , I know it's not impossible , but what late car with the same window motor can fit into the ae86 or do I have to find an actual jdm one ?

yeah i would be checking the alternator and u can buy universal power window kits. in the kit there is a little motor that goes over the spline that the winder usually does and u wire that up, usually fit under the door card with not much modifying
