Hey,
Figure this is the best place to ask this.
Recently imported a Trueno from japan and have been doing some work on it changing bits and pieces around and have some things i want to get rid of i just don't know what its worth, if you have any idea what this stuff is worth please let me know.
Here is the waste spark ignition system:
Part Number on the controller box thing is 9923 it was a bit fuzzy in pic, its apparently a complete plug in setup, has all the bits to use the dizzy for CAS.
The ECU:
After doing a lot of research i have found its out of a Group A factory car. it works perfect but was just running too rich for my car as it isn't up to group a specs and its a daily driver and a lil thirsty. It has a hand controller to adjust trims on the fly.
Cheers

ebay it, you will be surprised what you can get for "JDM" parts, especially 4a gear cause its so hard to find. I'd start it up near 1k and see what happens. No point selling stuff, if you aren't going to be a business man about it.
1k is a bit ambitious.
you can buy a motec for that.
No harm in trying, what do you have to lose?
What sort of price would move it as im a bit strapped for cash at the moment...
i would have suggested selling it as a set with your engine loom. but seems like its a bit late. if youre in the position to be able to explain to someone how it works/confidently suggest how you would get it working on someones car, then you can ask decent money... otherwise.
your first option would probably be trying to sell it on club4ag or one other other specialist 86 forums. you might just get lucky and find some fruit cake who is really keen for this sort of thing..
failing that. ebay with an international listing will probably work well. id probably be trying to sell it together as a lot with a start price of about $300.
78's
yeah $300-500 (MAX) i'd say. as rare and cool as it is, selling it reliably is difficult as theres not anything known of its origins or how it works.
most funny little jap ECU's are suited to specific motor packages, and they most of the time forget to list what package is what so its hard to tell.
as dimitri above said, club4ag would be a good bet, all sorts of toyota nerds on there.
Motec for 1k are you serious?
Um, no. you can't.
Maybe an early 90's screwdriver model, or a second hand M4-M8.
New M400 is around 2.8k (Capa pricing)
New M4 is 1.9k
