you guys reckon its worth buying a ps3 for gt5?

i was almost gonna buy it today, but i started reading abit more about GT5...

the standard vs premium cars thing....its a bit BS i think.....



that outside view thing is so crap on the standard cars.

the whole game seems a bit unfinished.

though i had a quick go of it at a mates house, the driving is fun i guess. but the standard cars look pretty terrrible. he had an R32 M-spec, and it just looked fake. reflections were all over the shop etc.

you get 98000 for completing the Indy course in "American Championship" in the "Extreme" series, in my ZR1 it takes abut 5mins including load time per race

i started grinding the Indy course in Dream Car in Extreme, it offers less money but 9818xp per race, 10 laps of Indy can be done in less than 7 minutes

aw i see im only lvl 21 , you use the zr1 and win it? i tryed the indy in a 1000 hp speed 12 and couldnt even keep up!

for anyone else having trouble with "like the wind" use this setup, makes winning both races not that hard

does your engine need a rebuild? trust me, those are the exact specs that i used to beat the challenge...

also, dont forget that in the indy race, you wil NEED to use drafting if you are to be successful

you cant catch up to draft them man i got it brand new so wouldnt need a rebuild it turns like shit aswell
