4ages in SA

looking for someone who knows their 4ages in adelaide particularly in sprinters.just fitted hks 264 8.1 lift cams into my bigport and the idle is shot. but not in a lumpy or irrigular idle. like something is not right. if i walked out and started it now it would probably idle perfectly at 800, the next time probably 1200, but still perfect (or as close to perfect with these cams). have been to a few places who clearly have no clue. any help or any info is greatly appreciated

Yeah arch he did. It's hard to explain the idle. Might send Simon a message and get him to have a sus. Morpowa were nothing but useless

Mine idles perfect, sounds like distributor is out a tooth maybe, cam gear out a tooth, or something along those lines.

quite possibly. will have a play around tomorrow and see how that goes.

in driving it today i found it idles perfectly until it gets warm. when first started it idles fine. until the first time the car is under load. also when rolling up to a set of lights for example in neutral, the car idles fine. as soon as you stop the revs bump up to 1200ish and sit there, which sounds vacuum related
