Hey,i am looking at purchasing one of these kits but cant decide which one to choose. i am just seeing if anyone has had personal experience with either of these kits and which one was better. ie quality, design and function. thank you.

i thought they both had those adjustable rear spring seats?
i know one of the bc coilovers use an actual rear coilover
i am looking at the BR series which appears to have adjustable seats, i do not want to go full coilover in the rear as it hasnt been designed to take the full load onto that point
Nothing wrong with the spring seats, except if you want to go really low. Even GReddy coilovers use them, and they're arguably some of the best coilovers on the market for an 86.
Nope. All the AE86 BC coilovers use a separate adj. length rear shock and spring/adjuster.
I have the V1 VA coilovers and I really like them. I have the early edition where you weld the OEM 86 stub axle to the coilover, but the new ones come with stub axles.

ok great, when you bought the kit, did they say anything about their warranty period and what the process was for this? i.e sending them back overseas or locally repaired? im just curious about this as my car is daily driven and tracked occasionally, so they will be abused regularly. would like to know this just incase they do stuff up later down the track. cheers
Cant remember to be honest. I was in a bit of a hurry to get them all together haha. Best bet is to either contact the company you'll be buying them from, or contact Wholesale suspension who are the australian BC distributers from memory.
I believe they can be locally repaired, the V1 VA models at least.

great. thanks for the feedback, i was leaning towards the bc coilovers due to the better price, but was a bit iffy about the aftersales support and quality. cheers
Aftersales support and quality? Only way you get that is with a specialist.
