Ok so I wanted to put a stereo in and I haven't owned a sedan since 04 and just had utes so I really missed having decent subs that aren't slimline.
So I was going to spend a fortune on a setup but couldn't be stuffed since it is only a rolla and resorted to some cheap stuff but it should still sound ok.
Just gotta buy another 6rca out pioneer head deck with sub control and some 6 inch 2 way pioneer speakers most likely the top of the line ones.
Here's some pic's of when I was testing to see how I should mount it all.


Stuff as follows:
2x Powervox amps 140wrms x 4 (wonder how long they will last they feel so cheap no weight)
2x Performance Teknique 12" dual voice coil 500wrms
1x Performance Teknique 15" dual voice coil 600wrms
1x SSL 2 Farad Capacitor.
Also got a bunch of stinger 4 gauge wiring, splitters, fuse block and other things from a setup in one of my old cars.

I know the subs are ok cause my mate has them but I dunno about the amps all my experiences I've had with cheap amps are bad.

I thought the exact same thing. When I trial fit them I was like WTF am I thinking this is ridiculous!
Anyways I'll see how it goes I'll probably hate it and pull em out.

Nah sorry still haven't gone to wreckers yet probably will tomorrow or Friday but I'll let you know when I get there.

It think its weird its overheating never seen a KE do that before. I have the opposite where mine runs to cold and takes forever to heat up. I'm sure it doesn't have a thermostat.

Sorry man don't wanna swap fronts. Only reason I bought a KE was because I love the square front otherwise woulda got an AE71.

I will spend money on the motor but dunno which way to go. I just want an alright amount of power with a decent fuel economy.

I was contemplating going turbo but a computer to run it cost a fortune! I've got a T4 lying around and I need to buy a manifold so deciding whereas to go turbs or n/a.

I've also been thinking about selling my 2006 BF XR8 ute could pay off me loan and get about 6k back and just pour that into the ke. The XR8 is fast and does good skids but it isn't as fun and is a bitch to drift and expensive when it breaks.
