Updates pete!!!!!!!!!! Btw just read the whole thread again for sh*ts and giggles, 'cause im bored at work. I love the progress of the engine and how clean it is!
Pete not much has happened she's just been sitting. I've had to do the head gasket on my saab and been fixing up my XR8 to sell and moved house so its been hard to get anything done lately. The motor is ready to drop in just gotta finish off the body. I'm living in Wantirna now so 15mins from work so should get it done soon now.
Finally people I have an update.
Everything is welded up just waiting for some rust converter to dry then its bogging time. Once the bogs done shes ready for paint then assembly!
Got the cooler mounted had to remove the bar that goes from the hinge down to the chassis and cut the two pieces out of the middle of the beaver panel. All fits though with the bumper, grill, lights and beaver panel. Used S/S Angle so its nice and secure and cut the holes for the piping using a fuck off big hole saw.
And one final one of me repping AE86DC!

Cheers man its taken me ages! But it will be worth it in the end. Body work should be almost done this weekend. Just gotta do 1 more coat of bog and rub it down then high build primer and rub that down then she will be ready for paint. Then when its assembly time everyone will see all the goodies going on which is about a whole bedroom worth.
we charged less then 5 grand to put swap one, you getting it rebiult (wreckers engine that shit)
and thats what i get for not checking that this is like 6 pages long :/
