    Default Ke70/ae71 removeing window winder

    Hey all i got mew doors and im switching the interior colour over. Iv gotten it all off except for the window winding thing is holding it on.
    Just wontering is there a proper tool or do you just pull it off.

    there is a proper tool and there is also the search function, someone asked this last week...

    there is a circlip holding the winder on to the spline, its halfway down the shaft on the back of the winder. just use a flathead screwdriver to unclip it, just make sure you don't lose it.

    proper tools are not expensive, and it can be tricky with a screw driver, also ive been informed u can use an old rag to get in off

    Yeah i saw that the other day but i couldnt find it again. It was for sprinter anyway wasnt sure if they are the same. Yeah im gunna go try the cloth way now. Thanks for the help

    those clips are called "jesus f**king christ" clips because when they come flying off towards your left eye, thats usually what you say as you dive for cover.

    and yes, the rag way works, takes bout 4 seconds to get em off

    when you put the cip back ithave it facing so that when you need to get it off again the side you need to jamm the too or screw driver in isnt the same pace as the handle
