Introducing Bozu...

Hi all,

Just introducing myself, I'm Kevin also known as 'Bozu', I'm 23 years old, a mechanical engineer and from the Netherlands. My girlfriend and me are currently on a little trip around the east and south coast of Australia (we're now in Brisbane). After this trip we will stay in Perth with family and try to find a decent job and a residence in Perth but enough about that.

After our holiday I will start looking for a fun and reliable daily that I can also take drifting if I want to, with around 220kW.

With that being said I'm looking at 3 different models at the moment: a Silvia, an 180sx or an AE86 (trueno GTV or GT-APEX, preferably panda white/black). With the last one being my favourite because it's something else and you don't see them as much as the other two models, plus for some reason it appeals to me.

However like I said I'm from the Netherlands and we don't really have those models over there so I first want to figure out how they drive/handle and if I can fit in one properly without hitting the roof with my head or having to wrap my legs around the steering wheel as I'm 1,96m.

This brings me to the first question I have for you guys...What would be the easiest way for me to get a drive to see if I like the model and if I can fit in it? Just calling someone up who has one for sale and make a test drive or is there anyone on this forum that has about the same height as me and are willing to let me sit in theirs? (as they might have had to alter the seat position because of their length to get the best position)

Any comments or thoughts on this one guys?

Anyone else willing to let me have a look and sit in their AE86? We're now in Byron Bay and will be heading to Sydney soon, but we'll also visit Melbourne and Adelaide

if you come to lismore its just near byron you can sit in my ke70 kinda similar to an 86 or you can sit im my friends s15 similar to an s13's seat position

I appreciate the offer but I saw your reply to late...We're already in Coffs Harbour so Lismore isn't really on the route anymore.

Alright, the decision has been made...
It's definetly gonna be an AE86, I had a drive in Thr55t's Levin last sunday and I really liked it. The handling is direct, I had enough room and the seat position is also good.

I've said it already but I'll say it again, Thr55t, thanks again for the drive and the talk!

Only thing is don't know if it's gonna be a Trueno or a Levin...
