    Default 7A sump?

    just saw this ebay listing:

question; is that just a 7A sump or whole block? im unsure of any tell tale signs. also the dizzy looks slightly odd... not interested in buying but in what you guys can tell from the pictures.

mods: please move to appropriate section if this doesn't entirely fit.

ask them for a pic of the intake or back end of it. Otherwise just ask what the engine number is that's stamped on the block

I was refering to me overlooking the 6 bolt crank thing. So yes ask them to count the flywheel bolts and more pics if possible

pretty sure i can see "4A" stamped on the engine block number area. but still, doesn't hurt to ask. 7A sump is definitely odd

    4A 20v block, 7A sump.

    Easy enough.
