I thought toyotas used a 10mm, but whatever. They usually have a cap over them so you cant "accidently" adjust them.

They work pretty much the same as carbs really, Ill try to find a pic for you

nah its ok, someone fucked with it, and its been set up properly before, the screw has been tagged, so i fucked the tag off, will have a play around tomorrow with some more light. wanna get a handle on how it works before i boost it.

hmmm seems im missing the fact that most of the time we send the injector pumps away to have a boost compensator put on them. (some old toyotas has altitude compensators that did pretty much the same thing)

anyway, the fuel screw almost always has some device to stop you adjusting it. wind it in half a turn and see what happens. heaps of black smoke constantly is bad.

yeah i know rich all te time is bad, it'll get ot and let go. This was supposedly a built 2LT engine, dont really believe it, but im going to lean on it, and see what happens. hopefully it olds togeter when i screw boost into it.

its probably flogged the housing out already. they leak fuel past them when they are worn.

im probably not making much sense to you. Diesel is a gay subject to take but the money pays ok. I had to do a bit for my boss.

2lt's = rotory vane = a rotor in the housing, they wear out, simular to apex seals in a rotor motor but with out the seals.
