    Is this going to be a problem in high compression, low boost turbo application? For a track only car, will only be doing drift practice days with it.

    The motor I have has 10.5:1 compression, 2.3, DOHC 16V; 110kw and 200nm stock. I want to run 12PSI, since I found out the internals will handle it, (with decent maps). Thinking I would need to upgrade the injectors, always run 98(that's a given) and get a stand alone to control the maps.

    Hoping to get around 300nm and 200kw. Does this sound realistic?

    Edit: Other option is Megasquirt, which may be cheaper initially but not sure if it's going to be harder to get tuned.

    The upside is that we have a kickarse new webserver, ooooodles of bandwidth and this webserver doesn't cap how many emails we send out !

    that we are, we were on this morning but then it went away again.

    Found something pretty interesting while out bush this weekend. Was checking some serious 4x4s out, one group was fueling up, and adding 2 stroke oil. Baffled me a bit and asked them, and they said they were using it to lube the fuel system, they were trying very hard to convince me, but I didn't, came home last night did some research. And its supposedly quite a commonly done thing, seems to stem from europe, when the new diesel (low sulphar ULSD or something) since it has less lubricating properties.

    So anyway, I figured fuck it, I had to fill up last night, so I mix 300ml through my 65l fill up. Went for half hour drive, and the thing has shut up, no injection pump noise, injectors are quiter, cold start is quiet, as quiet as op temp was prior to adding the 2T. Also noticed today, that the level of smoke I was blowing had cleared up considerably, so I took that as an opportunity to screw some more diesel in. Supposedly there is a power increase, and therefore better mpg, but I wont know about that in my mad grab for what ever power I can find in this nugget.

    Interesting bout the 2 stroke. Shoulda done the same to my old RS Turbo haha

    No dawn service for me. Too many all nighters this weekend. I'll be watching the march in the city.

    Same. Up at 4 for some rums before we march in Brisbane then off to the pub for more beers. Free beers till 2 then we have to get out of uniform and have to start buying our own drinks
