you can get a MUCH better car for 6k. tell him to get a 318is e30. good suspension from stock, stock clutch pack lsd, driveline that will handle a turbo, NA engine with 10:1 compression. decompress and chip the ecu for bolt on turbo with 8psi or decompress with pistons and get a piggyback or aftermarket ecu for 15psi.

youll get an awesome one for 6k if you look around. most sell for 4k if theyre 7/10. youll get a 9-10/10 for 6k
