wanted In good condition a 4AG or 22R engine at reasonble $, in the visinity of north eastern Tasmanina

4AGrwd 4a prefered with flywheel attached and clutch also prefered, No efi neaded or dissy etc neaded and only exaust manafold needed for a 4A as carbie oldschool engine mod

or

22r
with distributor, intake plenum, exhaust manafold

hey mate keep an eye on e bay. there is a bloke on there every few weeks selling complete 22re motors in tas. not sure what part but he has had a buy now price of $300 the few times i've seen them and that was for 2 of them complete with loom etc. good luck with it.

try this mate. 2 x 22re in hobart $400 for 2 of them. be careful if there from different years. i think it was 85 on the heads and blocks are different so you can't mix and match parts with older motors.

yeah ur right the heads and bolts are diffrent on the efi unit event the bore and stroke is diffrent

the problm i have is that ive got the 2litre carb and i need some thing to fit the celica w55 & R bellhouseing before the broag waner and 2s fail, the only option is to go for another carb engine to fit the w55 with out to much fuss,
so the 22r-c is the safest bet

get the efi motor set up and sell it or swap it with someone that wants to go away from carbie . hilux and bundy guys are always doing the efi swaps
