Hey guys,
Just planning out my conversion and I was wondering if the stock primaries from a JDM 4AGE will clear the slave on an AE71?

yep. i have an ae71 t50 with jdm ae86 primaries and secondary exhaust manifold/pipes.
but you will need to get a banjo fitting for the clutch slave.
so that the hydraulic line comes out a 90degrees from the slave, rather than stock it comes out straight.
if you use the stock hose it will rub on the exhaust.
ill see if i can find a pic of mine:
here ya go

Okay awesome, where did you get that banjo fitting from and also what do you mean by the secondaries?
the stock jdm exhaust manifold is broken into 2 parts.
the primaries go from the head 4 into 2.
then the secondaries join to this and go 2-1
i just got my line made up at the local hydraulics shop, about 50bucks i think, thats fancy braided line too.
here is a pic of the exhaust:
they join together as you can see, on mine i actually had one of those ceramic "gaskets" start to leak where the 2 halves joined together.

ah yes thats what I thought they looked like, its just that Craig Foster (justjdmimports) called them primaries and I got confused
thanks for that, ill have to look into getting a banjo line made up
Sam q also sells a braided line which Is around the same price as mentioned above.
I've got one ready for my swap and it looks great![]()
