VHT, atleast 26x8s and some proper strip suspension, 9's would be doable, hard, but doable.
fuck me 129mph! that s fairly moving along!
gunner, possibly in a perfect world might get to a high 9, but repeatable mid 10's he'd piss it in!

oh yeah definately, but would it be worth going to all that effort for maybe a single 9sec run, where as you could run mids 10's all day long?
no not really, but he would be one of thevery 9 sec 86s world wide haha
what about C&Y sports with the 2J/RB26 or the peurto rican rotary AE86?
yeah, but they are hardcore drag cars, 3/4 chassis in the rotor, not sure on the specs for the other cars though.
I must admit this thread has started that itch, I would love to go buy some drag worthy, and thrash the ass out of it, oh how I miss my vl haha.
C&Y are full chassis.
but i know what you mean, i keep dreaming of a full sized chrysler E-body with a TT 426 or a 500ci TT wedge motor...
yeah mate! was on the way out there.

My dad used to drag in his FJ holden, i think he was sitting round the 14 sec time, bare in mind this is 40 years ago now.
I think once my track car is done ill have to pop down to have a go at drags at least once or twice, do more torques help at the strip? or is it in top end power?
you need the torque to get to half track, and power to drive it the rest of the way.
