    hey all after a friend pointed out that i dont have a build thread on here realised i should post one up haha.

    my car is nothing special, its an 1984 sprinter.



    Mods:

    16v 4a-ge
    rb20 alloy rad with falcon thermos
    ae71 auto diff atm (snapped an s series axle), looking for a t series.
    Standard manifold, straight through 2.5" to twin 2.5" kickups i made.
    Vl external fuel pump

    Coilovers using corona struts with 10kg JIC springs (looking for 9kilo ones if anyone wants to swap.)
    Corona brakes up front.
    Custom made lockspacer

    rear has 6 kilo springs, bigger sway bar, rear strut brace that goes inbetween rear seat latches

    Full Vertex kit
    Has 14x7 -5 Work equips on the front
    rear is 14x8 -12 ssr mesh.

    acquiring some hurricanes with yokohama c drives off a mate soon.


    Plans:

    extractors,
    longer LCA's
    camber tops
    new waterpump
    TRD clutch
    T series
    oil cooler
    TRD blues short stroke for the rear,
    bigger front brakes (these are solid disks i want vented as brake fade sucks)
    Ill make some knuckles, new rosejointed tie rods, adjustable panhard rod, all at work, working at a small engineering shop that has many CNC machines is win!

    attend many more drift days.

    ROFL i dont know how mine is louder than yours when yours had half an exhaust

    and i couldnt find my old one?
    maybe i left it un-updated for so long it got deleted when they updated the site?

    nice 86 man, looks like it slides well.

    you mentioned you wanted to do a brake upgrade... you already have the perfect struts for it ...

    the hilux upgrade is the way to go for you .

    hit up a wreckers and look for the even piston hilux calipers, they are also found on 75& 80 series land cruisers. then buy some Peugeot 604 vented rotors and have them machined down in dynamiter from a 272mm to a 266mm then drill out the holes that bolt it to the hub my 1.5mm and they bolt straight on. it is a mad upgrade and should only set you back about $350 but it is well worth it.

    Oh yeah, thanks faceplant! will look into it! will the stock brake master be enough to handle the 4 pots?
