    Default ECU question

    hey guys

im looking at putting a 4agze into a AE86, small list of engine mods. want to run a Haltech full ECU, im unsure if i should or need to run a timing adjustment module. so my question is is it work the money in the way of gains and tune ability?

    cheers guys!

MAP, small port. was told AE101 gze

mods included- larger crank pulley, cams (think 270degree), injectors, massive FMIC (going to run twin TB set up), unsure if im going to use ZE manifold or NA or custom, adjustable cam gears, extractors, proberly MSD LS1 coils, lightened flywheel, bottom end blanced. larger custom sump.

    Sort answer - No!
Long answer - You're doubling up on expences & adding another means of adjusting the timing on top of an already adjustable Haltech ECU.

Are you talking about a CDI rather than a timing adjustment module?
