Default Herbert The Panel Van*diff needed please help*

hey guys my name is Chris some you guys might have seen this on rolla club but thought i might put it up on here as well. this is my first car its a ke70 panel van. i bought it as a fair shit box, i have the plans to pretty much do every thing to it, ill be doing all the body work, repainting it hopefully a sky blue with metallic through it. its got a blown diff at the moment im in the process of removing it at this time. its got the 4k in it, not sure how healthy it is will be doing a compression test when i get another starter motor. also has twin 40 solex carbs(need to be rebuilt) but im thinking about getting a manifold to run a single side draft. reason for this is that i think twin side drafts is over kill and one will be a good mix between performence and fuel use. umm its got the 5 speed. few suspension mods and such.

scored a full dash seats and carpet for 120 bucks what a bargin. striped it out and put it all in looks a lot better then it was.

also just finshed installing a car hoist in the shed. got it up on the hoist last night started taking out the diff

    stay tuned for up dates
    chris

Panno's have an S series diff, same as ADM AE86. You'll struggle finding a panno diff however due to them having leaf springs and the AE86 having a 4 link setup. The internals will swap over, so i'd say buy an ae86 diff for the internals and swap it all over!

AE70 the carbs are f*cked theres no ventura in one throat. in the other carb its lose as. the diaphragms on the pumps under the carbs are leaking. plans are to run a single side draft. parts for the carbs are hard to find and are expensive. also wiht the dual theres to much fuel the the exhaust is caked in carbon. with the cam what the grind like? and sam said the head has been shaved and ported and polished? because its not polished?

im kinda hoping to find a t series diff and get a LSD in it. wiht series theres no LSD's right?

thanks for the help guys hoping to get some progess done soon
