umm getting some 14' gravel white te37s when they pop up

machinist rung today, everything nearly done.. one small thing the new pistons we have are actually 0.5mm oversized so hes boring the cylinders to suit. kinda didn't wanna do that but oh well the 0.5 shouldnt make to much a of a difference to comp ratio or final displacement should be better overall hopefully! final comp ratio is looking to be about 11.4:1

    thanks for the offer marv.

    those TE's sound dope.

Ive probably missed it somewhere in the thread, can you explain how your front guards were cut? they were done to be super-low and still have clearance?

rear guards - flare section cut off, ae82 front flare section (20mm wider) welded on ~20ishmm up.. means u can lay rail and not rub to much.
fronts - stock fenders flared then trimmed back ~15ishmm higher, once again so u can go low.

talk to slydar more about it if u want.

Yer the te37 idea is out the window for now, cant afford/rare to get gravels in that size.
Anyway some good news for the day, picked the motor back up from the machinist. Everything looks awesome, here's what i got done:
    -All parts acid cleaned
    -New stainless welch plugs
-New rod bolts & Rods re sized
-Rod small ends honed to make small port pins fit (full floating)
-Block bored & honed 0.5mm oversize, to suit new hi-comp small port pistons.
really happy with how things are going

cool, looks like all the gear I have in my garage courtesy of Seamus (- the pistons/rods)

Look forward to the outcome man, you seem to be traveling well... so keen to hear some first hand 7a experience.
