Headunit wiring - illumination/dimmer wire

I guess this belongs here - i searched, i didn't find. Also, i don't have a battery in my car atm, so can't test with a multimeter.

Basic question - what colour is the wire for illumination/dimmer on an ae86 (jdm) for the headunit? I can see a green (w/red dots) wire that looks like it might belong.

Also, is the dimmer/illumination a 12V or a ground?

Green Wire, pin 9 on the blue 9-pin plug for the radio. It is a 12v (+).

Cheers man. Is that definitely for JDM not USDM? Unfortunately i don't have the 9-pin plug anymore, just a bunch of random wires everywhere - i know my model of headunit doesn't use the dimmer/illum wire, so i'm guessing it's the odd one out.

Should be... that's out of my European/Other countries wiring diagrams that has both RHD & LHD diagrams. It's the same in the USDM as well. You could always check continuity from that wire to one side of the tail lamp fuse.
