Heat Gun and patience.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways ~ Beer in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ?WOO HOO - What a Ride
ahhhh, not looking foreward to that. a package from AJPS arrived today with some lil goodies.![]()
I used citrus goo remover to soften up the black shit. Kept it well soaked for about 10 minutes and was able to peel large bits off.
Did it take any paint off when you took the strips off
caramel wheel works well ive heard..
Nice find.
Works for me too and cheapest option.
If the paint is original it shouldn't peel.
I have put on new steering wheel, ajps handbrake button, new rack ends, gave the 4ac some fresh fluids all round and had many the fun in her.
Today I picked up panels, and bonnet for flat front conversion, fender mirrors (at no cost), ae71 manual pedal box and purchased a pair of 15x7.5 +5offset Longchamps with tires for a price way too cheap to turn down!!!
