ok so got some work done on the car today. put the pedal box and steering shaft in, and attatched the brake booster and clutch mastercylinder. spent most of my time screwing around trying to make the master cylinder fit properly....

also painted all the hard lines in the bay matte black.

also clean and painted the wiper motor as well.

oh and a quick question for you guys, does anyone know the size and pitch of the nut that goes onto this stud below the clutch master cylinder.

and the size of the bolt that goes through the clutch pedal to attach it to that master cylinder.

it isnt a bolt for the cltuch pedal its a pin, and its a 12 or 14 metric fine bolt, common as, you probs will have 20000 of them in your bolts box from stripping everything

ok so got most of the front end in today, only thing left to put in are the struts. also rebushed all the suspension components with urethane replacements. Getting out the lower control arm bushes was a bitch to start with, but after some help from a blow torch they came out pretty easy

hoping to have it rolling by the end of tomorrow anyways here are pics.

    urethane bushy goodness

looking good man, and most jap cars hav the same pitch and thread for the same size nut and bolt, for example, all 10mm nut and bolts hav the same pitch and thread, so u could get a bolt that holds ur guard on and it will fit to hold ur dash in, but on saying that always try and put the bolt in by hand all the way before u get a spanner/ socket onto it, getting snapped bolts out sucks lol
