Got a set of wheel nuts for the car, they're only cheap steel ones. But the way i see it is that there going to get wrecked with constant tyre changing so no point getting alloy expensive ones.

so picked up a new box just then, seems to be in good condition. wont be putting it in for a while, still have to do a few things with the steering and suspension first.

t50's are fine, use a good oil and dont shift like a cock when drifting and you will be fine as gunner said mechanical sympathy goes a long way.
yea have come to that conclusion. Will be using redline shock proof in it and will try not to shift as hard.
Make sure you warm our car up properly when using redline gear oil, and change it regulary. It is a competition oil, its not designed to run in a box for.months on end. Personally I would not run it in a daily/street car, it is very thick and sticky, and imo it is too sticky, and causes particles to become trapped.in the body of oil, rather than.falling to the.bottom of the box as it would with a normal gear oil. Imo this causes.issues, and increases.wear.
Yes its shock proof qualities are worthwhile, but after pulling down 100s of wrx boxes where a 1/4 ran redline, those redline.boxes were always showing more signs of wear than the boxes with a 90/140 gear oil.
In conclusion, run it if you plan to change it at every opportunity, if not run penrite competition gear oil 140 just as thick, not as sticky..
hmmm good input, probs wont be changing my gearbox oil all the time, so what type of penrite gearbox oil are talking about? like a ? or something else? looked at their site and couldn't find anything that was 90w-140 only 80w-140
Also what do you guys reckon about what engine oil to use? I'm thinking of going a or
a motul 300v chrono fully synthetic 10w-40?

Yeah thats the one, my bad. As for engine oil speak to your engine builder, but I like royal purple, its purple, it smells.nice, and it turns shit purple lol but nah its good shit.
okk sweet ill grab some 80w-140 when im filling the gearbox. My enginebuilder reccomended the penrite 10w-40 racing, but i thought motul would be better? royal purple isnt an option because i cant get it cheap like the other two:p
Another little thing, i got this for my keys.
