anthony kellum tuned it before i bought it and according to him there is nothing wrong with the tune so was just wondering what things i should look at like fuel pressure reg,vac lines sensors ect
Possibly adjust the way you drive...
You have cut a few of my friends off while driving like a loser recently.
do you really expect the tuner that orignaly did it to admit to fucking up and sorting it out??? take it to someone else. and honestly what do you expect for 304 degree cams
I had a 310 degree cam in a 4KC once... It used to get 250-300km to a tank.
The issue with huge cams is the giant overlap where fuel goes in and out without even being burnt...
cheers guys makes sense i spose/ so in other words that some of the side affects of having big cams = massive fuel consumption
lol.
what are your plugs like? you can tell a lot from plugs.

what are your plugs like? you can tell a lot from plugs. alot of carbon build up.the plugs are ngk bcpr6e is that the right plug for a bt
It's not about admitting to fucking anything up. The car was tuned ( for a previous owner) for acceptable AFR's right through from light cruise to WOT. I know it was, I was there.
Generally when a car goes from running well to running particularly badly, some sort of external event has caused this. Stuff like fuel pressure changes, sensor problems, even ECU or wiring problems. I'm happy to take a look and try and find what this cause might be as soon as I'm in the Capalaba area next.
Fouled plugs are a good indicator of a problem. Having said that, you can't expect a 20V with 304's to get the 500ks to a tank that a std 20V is going to.
