Hello fellow Toyota enthusiasts.
Up for sale is my KE70 which has been an on off project for awhile now. Near the end of the project I moved to Brisbane where I now go to Uni. Originally I wanted to get this up and going as my daily but due to time and logistical constraints I have deemed it better if I sell this one on and get something more sensible for my situation.
The project is complete and ready for registration (or roll track). Currently the car isn't located at my house in Archerfield, and I will have to Transport it up here soon as I get a chance.
The specs and condition:
Body: 130xxx on the clock. The all round condition of the vehicle reflects the mileage.
NO RUST, I have looked everywhere, I found rust under the spare wheel which has been treated and painted and is no longer active, aside from that there is nothing.
Completely resprayed a custom red, I'm not sure on the actual color I bought it like that, its not a crappy overspray job.
Rolled guards (no hacking).
Bolt in half cage.
SOLEX door locks.
Interior: Aftermarket Tacho, oil pressure, water temp gauges.
Momo wheel and pedals.
Unknown seats, semi bucket, comfortable.
RPM Harnesses, utilizing the original seat belt buckle mounting locations, no dodgy crossbars bolted to the weak points of the car.
Will chuck in a pro-lock steering lock, is new.
Engine: 4AGZE Bigport with Smallport coilpack loom and ECU.
Engine origin is unknown but it has tight compression and runs smooth and good power right off idle in true supercharger fashion.
Recently received new washable air filter, oil filter, iridium plugs, oil flush and change, fuel filter, new coolant. No leaks and stuff like that its in VGC.
New battery with 2 year warranty.
4-1 extractors into 2 1/4 inch straight through under diff exhaust.
R33 intercooler.
There are some funky things up with the car only gauge related, I used original sensors with new gauges so the oil pressure gauge reads inverted and the water temp reads 30deg advance (operating temp is 120-130 C on the gauge). The point for having aftermarket gauges is for immediate information not massive delay like on factory cars, and you still get that.
Driveline/Suspension: 5spd box, not sure in type, its tight doesn't whine or slip out of gear etc.
Heavy duty clutch, puck style, no slippage and very snappy.
Disc (T series?) rear end, JDM diff as in not borg warner, will take an LSD, currently open.
Boge shox, normal lowered springs, pretty stiff.
JDM AE86 front struts, brakes work very well, recent system flush and replaced with Nulon high temp fluid.
Some urethane bushing here and there, all sway bar links urethane bushed.
Oversised sway bars front and rear.
15x8 -5 superlights with good 195/50 rubber.
Just needs a coilover conversion front and an LSD or locker and it'll be a sick rig.
No rego or RWC but I can supply means for a hassle free RWC.
I had TMR check the vehicle history it is clean, and the current engine number matches the Chassis number.
Looking for about $6500 or best offer, I am open to reasonable offers only and open to trades as I do need a car, am borrowing someones at the moment.
I can maybe go down like $500 if you BYO wheels.
