Fender Mirror Placement

So my brother just bought a pair of fender mirrors for his T18, and were not really sure how far down the fender we should put them. I tried looking up for photos of T18's with fender mirrors on them, but its a struggle. Anybody know of any measurements or general rules when fitting them?

Sorry to resurect an old thread, but Mr. Fusion sir, if you could provide those measurements i'd be more than grateful.

I have researched TE71's and yes, mad props. Big help. But i'd like to be doubly sure of my placement if i can be, before i go about drilling holes into my panels.
