i would strongly urge you to not put fibreglass/carbon near the wheels. when its metal and the wheel touches it (if low and wide wheels is what you want) the guard will be unaffected but if its fibreglass/carbon it will rip it really bad. sure carbon would look good when its sitting in the garage all new but once you drive it a bit the standard metal guards will be better

Air intake will help. fuel rail won't bother you til 700whp or something, probably more. Intake manifold will help a whole heap, some plastic spacer to keep the heat out of it and a better "neck" will help with breathing.

CF panels aren't really common so I dunno how much stronger they are over regular fibreglass stuff but like johl said, the fenders will crack if a car hits it and will disappear pretty quickly if the tire touches it. Metal you can beat to whatever shape you want, glass-y stuff is set unless you wanna mess around reshaping it either with heat or more glass on top. You can always repair glass as long as you have most of the bits after it shatters.

Thanks for the info. I didnt even think about the tires hitting the fenders
that changes everything. And good to know about the fuel rail. Ill just worry about the air intake then. The heads are clean so im going to leave them just the way they are. If i can do a few things to help the motor run smooth and get closer to 300 hp out of, that would be ideal.
