Gunmetal grey 82' Ke70-

Hey guys, Been reading on here for a while now, and seeing how my ke is almost on the road figured it was time to post it up.

Its a 82' Flat front that i bought off an old guy on rollaclub, it was cream with black "racing" stripes and boat height. BUT had a rebuilt engine, 5 speed manual, lukey exhaust system with extractors, new shocks and was the tidiest ke i found in my price range.

Here's how she looked when i first got her-





First thing i done was fix the height issues, mates chops springs when it. Ahh no more boat.


Next up was to get rid of those lovely "racing" stripes, I know being a 4k it needs any extra power it can get, but it really is not worth it.

Well that's it for now, She's all back together now except for the bumpers, will be fitting the 55 bumpers up tomorrow. Then she's ready for the road. But thats not the end, still plenty left to do..
Currently looking into a better suspension setup, i mean chop springs and ke70's go hand in hand, but at then end of the day its still shit to drive. Thinking 86 coilovers up front, but unsure about he rear, was looking at some ajps adjustable spring hats but dunno just yet.
Other then that will be getting some ssr mk2' or mk3's, and will be ordering my fender mirrors and madhouse lip soon and have my eye on a set of quadlights, tidy the interior up and she'll be done, well i say that now but we all know our cars are never done, right?

your colour choice is most pleasing. chuck some matt black watanabes (or copies like the 14x7 -9 konig rewinds) on it and youll see how amazing that colour really is.

I really need to stop posting that pic, thats my car haha. I dont normally park there, but theres is only just enough car parks for the amount of cars normally on the street so when i took the ke out of the garage i needed to park the falcon somewhere ahha.


Yeah actually matt black wheels could look pretty cool, might keep an eye out for some.
And yeah could do with more clear, could do more before i put the rest of the car back together, but ill see when i feel haha.

I agree with riojin, sick colour choice. Will defs be following this thread can't wait to see what it looks like when fully assembled haha. And yeah matte/satin black wheels will set it off!
