sounds like the choke isnt working or not adjusted correctly
hey guys just bought a sprinter and put a new 4AC in it as the other one was seized.
when cold it idles like shit and stalls but once its warm its all good idles fine. the timing it correct and the air fuel mixture is right.
the automatic choke is working as well, but not sure if the linkages on the carby are. when i turn the car on when its cold should the linkage move up completely and close of half of the carb? because it doesnt seem to move much.
also when accelerating it lags for like 1 second then goes like normal, any ideas? sounds like its sucking in air.
any help would be appreciated
steve

I know what'll solve your problem. And it's never another 4AC.
you have seem to mistaken your engine for a 4ac
lolwat, shoudl the choke valve on top of the carby closed fully?
i would buy a 4age but i have no money.
yea, it should be, to be honest im not too sure
i just know i failed a thing at tafe because i adjusted the choke :/ (was on a 4 ac too)
