Default rattler/viper alarm no longer deactivates via alarm pad

    Car - ae86

    motor - 20v

    use - hooning

    problem - alarm system

occurs/started when - took the car to get painted

personal situation (if applicable)- thats personal

ok so, ive got my ae86 and its got a rattler/viper alarm system.
as of recently the alarm started playing up and wouldnt let me deactivate the alarm but after fking with the pos/negative on the battery it would work.

now, having just had the car resprayed (the panel beaters removed the positive from the battery) the alarm just goes nuts when you put the positive back on the battery, even if i try and deactivate it with the alarm pad; it does nothing.
the car is now undrivable due to the immobilizer.

    - i have replaced the battery in the alarm pad hoping that it had just not had enough charge to send the signal to deactivate/active the alarm but that did nothing.

i really want to drive my ae!!

    any help is appreciated.

I did try that and the alarm doesn't go berzerk but, u still can't crank the car and if u nudge the car ie. Sit in it, the alarm goes off again

connect the batterie NEGATIVE first, and then, your alarm speaker probaly has a key hole in the back of it, you should have a small kep for it, turn it off and back on again see if it shuts its trap

Nahh theres no key hole for it. Im going to take it into an alarm fitting place and let them sort it out as I disconnected the alarm
