Got given a 7 foot tank last year... I think its about 600 litres?

Hoping to make it a saltwater setup when I move house, and get some decent saltwater fish

The protein skimmer and ozone cleaner will cost a bit...

This one actually has like a smaller overflow tank underneath it, and it cycles down into that and then back up into the main tank.

Have a look at at some of the salt water forums, they helped me a heap when i was starting to set up, i gave up, its just too expensive, and soo much work to maintain.

My Grandfather used to have giant aquariums about 40 years ago. He used to dive in the oldschool dive suits with the big brass helmets They would catch dragon fish and shit, pretty awesome.

It doesn't have to cost a fortune, or be a lot of trouble if you get it set up right. I'm telling you right now that the guys that used to do it oldschool had it right. We have all these neat ozone filters and shit now

iam a fish keeper too,
it starts 4 years ago when i failed me yr 9 science and so i need to raise up my grade so i have to take care the skool fish, cichild society sponsor us a 6 ft tank and bunnings sponsor us some equipment as i hav to build a filter that doesnt need cleaning...

Cool, lots of fish keepers.

I've been keeping tropicals (mostly cichlids) since I was about 13, but I've only got one tank set up at the moment, and I haven't stocked it yet.

im a fish keeper, since the age of 12 and still noob i guess hahaha
