I learned in a wagon ke70, the trusty 4k, can be fun in the wet. But you really restrict how much fun you can have by keeping the 4k. hence why i immediatly upgraded to
    4ac powa!!!

even the 4ac is a big upgrade!!!

yeh and i learnt in a ae71 wagon, whats your point? hahaha. this 4k loves the timing advance. and never misses a beat. never stuffs up and is already in the car so y change?

nah i want sr20. but i cant afford it just yet, and i still wanna slide so im throwing a lil bit of money at it now and will get another month or 2 until i can afford the REAL upgrade.

Do you honestly think that running 35 odd degrees if not more of timing advance is doing good for your engine, and making any noticalbe power difference to a 4K compared to if you were say running 20 degrees advance?

Haha I love all this hating on dan. Its hilarious.

Joseph: I got kicked off the track because me and sprinter86 where pretty much hanging out the window of a friends FC last winton drift day.

Anyway ill be pulling down emo's 4k and rebuilding it. Probably going to play with the degree wheel and see if i can squeeze some more power out of it with a reground cam. But I have a better package to throw into mine+james' corolla. Pretty much taking all the gay toyota out of it and replacing it with Nissan goodness.

and matty when are you going to show me some love and do a jarryd lap?

do i honestly think that reving my engine to 6000+rpm on a regular basis and repeatedly kicking the clutch to step the car out is lots of fun, yes.

and how would you know what a noticable difference is? you havent been in my car....it does make a difference (for refference stock timing is 7 degrees), why would i advance the timing for no reason? so i can pretend to be cool coz i did somthing, and brag to all my frends about it...or maybe its coz im so jdm and street yo.

Does your car bog down? Coz I've seen 4age ae86's bog down on the exit of the m's at winton and that's only a set of 2nd gear corners at around 60-70k's. I mean slow street stuff at like 50k's I don't think you'll be lacking for power because it's just so slow but on the track where you get top end 2nd and 3rd gear corners I find it hard a 4k will be able to manage that, in the dry anyway.

But if todays weather is any indication of how winton will be you might be in luck
