    on the topic... i will be doing this next weekend as well as stripping the interior and will put it all into a guide with lots of pics etc.

    In the panel shop i wosto working in, removing sound deadening is easy if you heat it up with the oxy and then scrap it. Make Sure TO REMOVE THE FUEL TANK

    Are any of you guys planning on re-carpeting your car? When I get my hatchi i'm gonna look at keeping everything and just re-carpeting to make it look nice rather than the race look like Josh's. And If I end up doing a gze bottom end with 20v head and turbo..weight shouldn't bother me ,

    stuff using an oxy, removing fuel tank

    trust me, heat gun and scraper is the easiest way

    Yeah, heat gun sounds simple and safer.

    Im just telling what my tradesmen did and the way I learned it from tafe.
