    hey guys just wondering where the rust prone parts on hachis are.
    ive heard the hatches are prone to rusting? what are the major tings regarding rust i should look for?
    im thinking if i get a car with small bit of rust on flat panels i'd be ok to just fix em up, but if its near the window seals and tricky parts it requires more more work.

    thanks in advance

    * Beaver tail (under rear bumper)
    * rear wheel arches
    * corners of back hatch
    * top corners of windscreen
    * inside front edge of front door openings (near hinges)
    * generally around the pillars

    thanks mate!
    that would be greatly appreciated!
    maybe you could just email them to me? (im_duffman@hotmail.com)

    how hard is it to fix rust? if its surface can you just sand down and repaint? but if its deep i guess you need to actually cut out a piece and replace it with a non rusted section? when they do this ive alway wondered, how to they paint/protect the back of the new welded in piece from rusting ? obviously on the visible side it will be painted but what about the back?

    mines on the hatch ( the old hatch ), a tiny bit on the rear wheel arch and a bit where the rear mudflap was... not too bad overall...
