AW11 is definitly AFM. and use a distributor as opposed to DLI like the later models. Umm what else do you need to know?
can i change it to map? if so what do i need?
also i was told they have semi forged pistons is this so?
im thinking of bying a turbo setup if money allows me too
u can change it to map by running an aftermarket ecu (eg mircotech)
yeah some say "semi forged" they are ceramic coated which is a major plus. either way the bottom end is farking strong, basically indestructable as far as factory bottom ends are concerned.
turbo setup, personally i dont think its worth it, get a pulley kit instead, save $1,000's
if ur after assistance in installing it in a hachi, a friend recently put one in his g/f's ae86.
and being the nice guy he is, he's written up how to do it for any other people that want to know how;
hope this helps.
Chris.
