hey, ive been hearing storys of bonnet hinges giving up in ae86s on highways and tracks and going through the roof and window, i found some black bonnets pins and thought it was worth there the investment! only question i have is on how the angle the clip is mounted on the bonnet, most 86s i have seen have them mounted on a 90 degree angle is there any reason for this or purly looks

yep, wouldnt surprise me.... had a similar experience myself on tha highway... bonnet started lifting heaps.... had to use an okyy strap to keep it secured till I got home..(lucky I had one on me)... but yeh seems as the bolts had come loose on the latch mechanism....
