You can chuck an aftermarket LSD in the t18 'T' series diff, you cant get anything for the stock spoonter 'S' series diff. Apparently the gearbox and struts fit too.
Why are T18 rear ends better than stock aussie 86 ones? Is it just the diff ratios or is there somthing im missing.
Also does anyone know whether the gearbox will bolt onto 4A? And will any of the struts change over?

gear box is different, struts are p00, different steering arms etc
aftermarket LSD's will go into the t series diffs ( t18 and jdm AE86 )
also i'm lead to believe the axles are thicker / Stronger
i was told when i was looking for one that the brakes are bigger but to me they look exactly the same.
truenosedan what is different about the t18 box they look the same as a t50? is it splines?
front brake on a t18 are smaller than ae86
rear brakes are the same size, shoes are same etc
23 spline axles
t18 box is a t50, but has different splines
