I feel wierd when i go as a spectator to a drift event I feel I dont belong with them I think most of the people around my Age group on go there for image reasons and that they dont know any think about the true drift scene they think its just doing "handbrakys" around corners and that if you mentioned a name like Ken Satoh they wouldnt have a clue this is just my oppion. its great that finally drifting is getting the reconition that it deserves in this country but in the same time i feel that the New fans should learn about the history and the theory behind the sport I love to fully appriciate it

    No one is truly alone.

Though you may stand in a crowed place,
    Your soul crying for help
    You feel so isolated
    Your heart beats faster
    You sweat

Someone, somewhere loves you and cares for you,

    No mater what

This is funny in a way cause I went to my first drift event..... the Drift Nats at QR and I honestly did not enjoy myself a great deal.

I respect the driving and actually love to watch video footage of it..... I just think I am not one that is going to intergrate into it and try it out. I guess its because I have no intention of drifting my 86 and my heart has always been set towards conventional circuit / grip racing.

    Thats beautiful **sniff**

But yeah the last drift event I went to I was surrounded by yobbos and lancer driver ricers (you know the types). I was wondering if I really wanted to be included in that group of people,

but now I know that Someone, somewhere loves me and cares for me, No mater what.

I Like Drifting alot But I see it when it come down to it a technique that get you around corners faster if done right I Prefer Speed over Show (drifting) any day but Circuit Racing has Really no appeal to me also I see it as a safe Training Place to Hone in your Skills for the Hills
