a VL pump and a VL turbo pump are the same pump, i think one fitting is different..the reason why people use them is there everywhere, and there a pretty much universal inline pump..
i'm using a walbro 255 intank pump in mine..which bolts into all the right places it's a universal type pump, that sits in the factory efi sender/float assy..this pump is an upgrade for the VL's so it's good, and alot of people recomend them over the VL pumps..one of these retails brand new from autobarn, no discount of any kind for about $215 or so..
