i am lookin at a box out of a older supra and a diff out of a T-18 with a TRD LSD center. im looking at doing it properly with new clutch, bell end and everything upgraded.
unless your prepared to get a w55/56/57/58 etc conversion happening, and a G series huilux rear end or simlar..i would stay away from the GZE..mine although pretty stock (as far as boost goes at least) and only making around 220hp..i went through many many axles, a few crownwheels/pinions..and 2 t-50 gearboxes..now with takumi tax on all those parts..and the monster torque the GZE churns out..makes it quite expensive.. an AE86 drivetrain was not ment to have massive torque or power put through it..

Although a little stronger than the ADM S series, listen to what Mattysshop is saying, the t series isnt much stronger and will eat axels for breakkie, G series or cut down R31 (Borg Warner) works well
no worries i will look in to it! thanks for your help guys!
if anyone has anything else to say please do so!
I'm very happy with my black top 20v... i think the way the power is delivered suits the ae86 very well.... it's not the easiest conversion though...
with the 4age 16v, i hear that they connect straight on the the 4ac loom
is this true?
and being an older engine, is it possible to get a decient amount of power out of a engine conversion for under 800?
