Sounds good but would probably sound even better standing next to it

SO your running Stock ECU no mods to it...no what we call "Piggy Back" on it like SAFC or something? I had bought the Map Loom for a AE86 when I went to Japan to install my ITBs and so many people told me there was no way it would run, so I sold the setup...now that I see this I feel like crying...What did you have to do to the harness to make it run?

    Take Care,

that CNC machined billet ally manifold i tapped fitting into, and joined all the lines otgether to get a nice map reading.. it runs fine, a little on the rich side.. but aftermarket ECU is coming..

I agree with you matty, join all 4 quads via a tube , 4 quads have better/stronger vacumm then only 1 or 2. Awesome effort, any power/dyno figures yet.

BlackTruenoAE86 what did you end up doing.

    Cheers

    Matt,

I for one would be very interested to see some A/F ratio data when using the stock computer...Any chance of a dyno run before the new ecu? I've yet to see the ITB conversion done with a standard computer and am very curious.

I take it you are running stock 180cc bigport injectors to suit your harness? Are you using the standard fuel pres. regulator?

yes pink late modle bigport ones with the 4 holes.. the injectors got cleaned and tested.. flowed 200cc @ 40psi.. i'm using a 100kw fuel reg IF there is a difference, lets just say.. on idle it sometimes pops flames, once the throttle is at least half to 3/4 down it get nice, but it does have a tendency to run rich.. WOT is just plain awsome.. the amount of noise they create is simply outstanding! here have a listen..
