tacho signal

ive put a sr20de into my 86 (yes i know crossbreeding's bad)

im just wondering where i can wire the tacho signal to? Without having to go all the way to the dash? Is there a wire in the engine bay or something? What colour?trace?

so you have the nissan loom and the toyota loom in there? how much of the toyota loom is left?

the toyota loom is mostly intact in the engine bay.

I havnt removed any of it yet.

theres a black with brown rings near the battery. It has a fork terminal on the end. splice this into coil negative on the sr coil and you should get a working tacho.
