Changing the globes will do nothing on aus-spec lights... theres a cap which restricts the distance you can see...

True the distance is not increased but the amount of light can be greatly increased via bulbs.

I have some Phillips ones, I am sure they where the blue vision. They ARE legal, and don't let the name misguide you..... the bulbs have a blue tinge to the glass but the light that is thrown is all white and looking into them it is white as well.

They made a very big difference in the 86 that's for sure.

If you guys like I can try to take a pic at night for you..... let me know.

the cap is a glare filter isnt it?

i have 2 people telling me different things
1 sez jap lights have glare cdap thing
1 sez aus lights have glare thing

i have both one with one without i think both are aus spec.
cannot really tell difference in brightness just the one without cap has a funny tinge to it

just get new light housings and hid it will be cool. my question is which has the better reflector design cos that will be the deciding factor for me.

Hey nut drifter like what you have done but i prefer to stick to lights of the same shape

    are you sure dude?
ive got blue visions on mine and it says on fine print on the packaging "rally usage only"

but i think the diamond vision or the vision plus work well or maybe bjunion bulbs from visionr work well

personally i think bluevision in a hachi will look crap let alone be crap, u cant see jack in the rain let alone with the reflector
