i got my t-series for $125 for the diff and $45 for the tailshaft. so $170 all up

t-series diff centres come in 3.1 and 4.1 ratio. it's the 4.1 ratio that people are after. also if you get a t-series with out sway bar mounts u can quite easily get an engineering firm to cut them off the old diff and mount them on the new one.

*if theres any mistakes please correct me

    and interesting point...
when i was calling around a guy at one of the wreckers said he was going to look at a t-18 that day and if i wanted the diff the call him back, bcos it wasnt worth buying if he couldnt sell the diff. but he wanted to charge $195 for only the diff -no tail shaft

Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated

Is there any disk brake options out there?? I was realy hoping for disks because they would be much better suited to the class of competion the car is being built for

And strength is also an issue as the engine will be pushing 200HP

    4.1:1 ratios do not come in any T18 T-Series diffs....only 3.7 or 3.9:1

4.1s are found in TA22 Celica T-series and ONLY in the manual.

Also a T18 is NOT A CELICA!!!!! its a fellow COROLLA, just like the AE86
