If i was going be driving somewhere where everyone else was using LHD, then i think i would be more weird to go with RHD. I've driven LHD in the States and Europe and after a period of adjustment, it didn't really matter.
I'd say go with whatever your comfortable with.
Regardless of which side you drive, you'll still be driving a Hachi which is the important thing anyway
AE71 Neo you just gave me a freaky flash back is your name Peter, did you used to cubs or scouts or something when you were like 10 or something.... iread your post and remembered a kid who used to shift for his dad in an old KE30 or 50. i can't believe i remember that shit, or that i juust admitted that i did cubs..... ghey (as he wacks himself in head)
Ae71 Neo thats trippy as at least i was half right, sorry i made you admit you went to cubs...... no chance it was Camden park you went to? down near the ferny grove primary school and pool, sorry i just can't let go of this!!!
I swap between the two in my industry.......being that i have a set of pedals on both sides of the car, i tend not to notice the difference between shifting with left or right hand.....it simply depends on what you are used to.
However, driving a LHD vehicle in a country such as OZ where we drive on the left side would be painful due to lack of vision etc.
